2008 Sorrel Mare
This filly is about as nice of one as you are going to find. She is out of a outstanding POA mare and by an own son of Reminic who is out of a daughter of Colonel Freckles. This filly has the built, mind and athletic ability of her sire and the size of her dam. One is simply not going to find a nice kids prospect then this. I started her last year and got a nice handle on her. Before turning her out for the winter Mini was changing leads to both directions, loping nice circles, soft in the face, starting to really stop nice and had a wonderful beginning to a great turnaround. I have brought her back in off and on throughout this year and she simply does not forget no matter how long you kick her out. I have also used her on the ranch and worked cattle on her and this girl sure wants to “cow up.”
CONGRATULATIONS to Brad and Lori Peterson of Logan, Utah on adding this nice girl to their family. It is with a heavy heart that I see this girl leave TS Quarter Horses but am excited for her 2013 foal out of Little Shining Sun to return to us. Mini Mouse will be taking care of the Petersons grandkids which I know she will be awesome at.
